Children
Children are included in every way possible,
in the life of St. Elisabeth's. They are full members of the Body of Christ.
Besides having an active Sunday School, we make children of all ages welcome
during worship because this is where early faith formation begins. Our

Nursery
Children from ages 0-3 are always welcome in church. There is a basket of silent, clean, and well-chosen books and toys in the back of the church to occupy little hands. Alternatively, Renata Gladysz is our trusted nursery attendant. She will welcome all babies and toddlers in the nursery each Sunday beginning at 9:45 am.
Preschool
Weefolks: age 3 through kindergarten. Chuck Chadd and Maureen Fischer will be co-directors this year of this highly structured and hands-on Christian formation program for young children. Parents and other helpers will be assigned specific Sundays as assistants. Bring your Weefolks child to the chapel at 9:50 am. (Returning families: please note time change!) Children will join their parents in church at communion time.
School Age Children
Friends and Covenant Classes: grades 1 through 7. Children in this age group are encouraged to be in church with their families. Sunday School follows the 10:00 mass.
Our Friends Class works with our younger school age children from 1st through 4th grade. Our older children through 7th grade are in the Covenant Class. Our Covenant Class works on larger, more complex projects. Each Covenant Class member prepares for Confirmation with the help of an adult Mentor from the parish.
Sunday School is currently on break for the summer. Children are always welcome in worship and we continue to have nursery care provided each Sunday during the 10 am service, beginning at 9:50 am. Stay tuned to this page for more information about when Sunday School resumes in the fall.
